This is a great collection of this genre of art. Not the usual Frederick Remington overkill–which was refreshing for a museum of the west. Whetted appetites for the real animals in the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Nice selection of European art as well. The cluster…More

I didn’t know what to expect when attending this museum, but it was just beautiful. The collection and special exhibits are great, and the rooms and signage are well-thought-out and provide excellent information.
This museum has an excellent collection of art and sculptures by Americans and Europeans. We were only scheduled to spend 2 hours here, but did not want to leave. We stayed after our transportation left and spent more time in viewing the exhibits. We then…More
Really great place, awesome art and information. Wish there could have been art not only by people from the US and Europeans, but maybe also some more by Native Americans, people in Asia and African as well. Just a thought. Anyways, great overall though!!
It was $14 for adults. $12 for seniors. Less for children. No AAA discount, but it was still worth every dollar, in my opinion.

Don’t miss this display of representative Western art and wildlife. The stunning “Chief” painting by Birgit and Robert Bateman and haunting eyes of “Grizzly” by Ken Carlson were my favorites. The statuary is also remarkable. I highly recommend this venue – 1 to 2 hours…More

We had just arrived @ Jackson Hole Airport – while sitting near baggage claim I overheard someone talking about this museum, saying ‘don’t miss it’. Since it was afternoon, & we didn’t feel like heading into Grand Teton NP, after checking in @ our hotel, we headed to the museum. Wow, it’s pretty spectacular – 51,000 sq ft, 5000+ cataloged… More
